For my book blog, I decided to choose The Series of Unfortunate Events books. It's title is The Vile Village. The author is Lemony Snicket, and this amazing book has been illustrated by Brett Helquist. This seventh book of the series is about the three Baudilaire orphans. In every book they've encountered with the great Count Olaf all the time. In the first book, when the three children had first lived with Count Olaf, he tried to steal their enormous fortune. Now ever since then, he's been getting in and out of every sticky situation. He ususally puts on dumb disguises. They might be dumb, but they fool everyone except the Baudelaires. Now about the book The Vile Village. This book is about the Baudelaires, of course, trying to live a normal life without getting in trouble. The vile village is like it takes a village to raise a child. They think it is great until they get there. When they get there they have to do so many chores and listen to every rule. The Baudelaires are trying to solve a mystery in order to save the Quagmire triplets. The Quagmire triplets helped the Baudelaires escape from Count Olaf. Count Olaf got mad and kidnapped them to get their fortune. Count Olaf is still after the Baudelaires. Once you open the book, there will be rule breaking, jail breaking, statue breaking, and much more. I like this book, because it is so full of adventure. I also like it because he has many books in his series. Also, there is action and many mysteries and things that can happen in real life. I give this book a five star reward. It is just phenomenal. I hope you would get this book the next time you go into the library.
