Bridge to Terabithia is a book based on friendship, secret love, and revenge. The main characters are Jesse Aarons, Leslie Burke, MayBelle Aarons, Janice Avery, and Miss Edmunds. This story is about a boy named Jesse Aarons who doesn't have any friends, that is until he meets the new girl, Leslie Burke. It all began with a race. Leslie out ran Jess and was the fastest kid in school. As their friendship begins to grow, they create a whole new world called Terabithia. They spent every moment they could together and made it last. In the end, Leslie moves on into somewhere where there isn't a single bad thing. Katherine Paterson is a great author and the winner of many awards. In Bridge to Terabithia, she used metaphors to describe the feelings of the many characters. This novel relates to Katherine's life and shows how to use your imagination. She shows that even though you may believe that you don't imagination when you face reality, there's always room for some imagination in everything you do. This book is a 4.6 and 5 pts. Read it. It's really good.
