There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom by Louis Sachar is an interesting story about a boy with the name of Bradley Chalkers. Bradly Chalkers is a trouble maker at his school, and his favorite thing to do is lie. A new school counselor, Carla Davis, helps Bradly restore his confidence and trust. Can you believe that because of the way he acted he had never been invited to a birthday party?? Well, with the help of his new counselor and encouragement from his "friends" (his toys) he finally gets invited to one! It's all new to him but he gets the hang of it really fast. It's hard to regain the trust of the others and with Bradly lieing that much, imagine how hard it is for him. So much for Chalkers to clean up by himself. Now, technicaly this story really isn't about a boy being in a girls washroom, it only has one little part in the book with the details of that, but the rest is amazing, even if it doesn't fit it's title. To me, this story was touching, only because of all the changes Bradly goes through, and how he was finally respected in the end. It's a tough trail to travel. This book has 208 pages of excitement and feeling. If you read this story, you will hopefully agree with me when I say that this is a very well-done book.
