Vladimir Tod is a most unusual vampire.He lives with his human Aunt Nelly.He lives with her because his parents Tomas and Mellina Tod were murdered. Vlad's diet consists of old hospital blood and human food. The blood is available to Vlad because Nelly works at a hospital. When Vlad becomes aware of other vampires he freaks out. With the help of his human friend and some others Vlad tries to keep away from death.
This book was amazingly written! Even though it was all about vampires it reminded me nothing of the book Twilight.This obviously is a good sign if you don't like the Twilight saga.You can read this book enjoy vampires and still not have to deal with all that mushy stuff in between. This book gets an A+ because it was written so uniquely it was like nothing I've ever read.
