"The Never War", by DJ MacHale, is an incredible book. Filled with 352-pages of adventure and excitement. Bobby and Spader go back in time to the territory, First Earth. Or in other words, time of World War II. He meets another traveler, Gunny, who isn't too familiar with his duty. But Gunny is very kind to the boys and gives them shelter, food, and comfort at the hidden floor of the hotel he works in. Bobby meets a key person tied in with WWII, Maximillion Rose. He gave Nazi's many supplies and was about to recieve a payment. However, his archrival, Winn Farrow, has a different plan. He knew the payment was coming on the Hindenburg, and Farrow had a weapon, explosive rockets. He would shoot them at the Hindenburg and blow it up into flames. This would cause a very big problem for Max Rose and the U.S. Now Bobby, Spader, and Gunny must find out what Saint Dane is up to. He is definately trying to create havoc, but how? Do they have to stop WWII, or is Saint Dane just tricking them, and there MUST be a World War Two? Find out.
