Warriors: Into the Wild, (book 1)

Warriors:Into the Wild, by Erin Hunter, is the first book in a three series story. It is about a young cat that is thirsty for adventure.
A tame, soft house cat is hungry for adventure. His name is Rusty, and he has a fire-colored pelt. One night, he decides to go into the forest that is at the edge of his gate. Rusty has heard stories about cats who fight each other , and actually HUNT for their food. But Rusty has been having weird dreams about being in to forest, and hunting mice, and he believes it is his destiny to go, Into The Wild. HE soon catches the sent of a mouse, but another animal, a fox scared it away, suddenly, a small, gray tom, with a dark gray stripe along his spine, comes barreling into him. He fights back, and soon the tussle is over. The tom says his name is Graypaw, and claims he is a cat of THUNDER CLAN. Rusty does not know what to make of this strange cat, who was still a kitten. Two big, powerful cats appear, and Graypaw quickly introduces them as Lionheart, his mentor, and Bluestar, his clan leader. Tee big cats say that they want Rusty to join their clan. Rusty does not know what to do. Will he join the clan, or will he stay in his soft, fluffy life? This "tail" is full of battles, mystery, and betrayal. I give this book an A++!!! It is such a page turner, and I read it over and over. It is not an AR book, but you should still read it! It is about 300 pages long, and it is full of suspense, battles, and warring cats.
(Warning, this book and series does have charictors who die.)
