The book Mister Monday is one of seven books of a series called the Keys to the Kingdom written by Garth Nix.In this 361 page book a young boy named Arthur Penhaligon is destined to die on a Monday of an asthma attack. While laying on the ground gasping for air two strange men appeared out of nowhere. The men gave him what looked like the little hand on a large clock.Along with the clock hand(it is really part of the key)he gets an "atlas" that tells him things he needs to know about the world this key has brought to him. With the help of some allies, Arthur sets out to end the terrible things that are happening in the House and in his own world. The House is where EVERYTHING was first made.It is also in another "realm" so to speak. In my opinion this was an incredibly great book. You may think so too if you enjoy fantasy books.I have read many books and of them all this is one of my favorites. For a grade I'd give it an A-. Just because if you don't have enough time to read it the book will be hard to understand.Otherwise this book was written very well and I look forward to reading the other books in the series.I will admit there were a few slow parts in the book, but with a gerat writer like Garth Nix things quickly get more exciting. If you are in search of a good book I recomend this book.
